  • 4 into 2 Exhaust for sale

I have a 4 into 2 standard style exhaust that came off my used bike that I would like to sell. The pipes are chrome and in pretty good shape but there is bluing at the top of the headers and some minor damage to one of the header pipes at the bottom curve. There is no cross over pipe involved and the main stand can be retained. I don't know what brand they are as I have not found a manufacturer stamp on them. The baffles appear to be removable because there are set screws at the tail end of each muffler. They are off my 79 standard model but will likely fit other standard models as well. I would like to get 125 plus shipping for them and I think thats a fair price.
If you go to this link you can see pics of the pipes on the bike they came off. They are on the yellow bike.

I still have them with a standing offer. they "should fit 78 through 81 standard models as long as the engine is the same as the 79 which I think is the case.

I don't know about that... I have a set of 81's (H) on a 78 (E) that took a lot of "head scratchin" to get them to mount. I had to pass a bolt through the triangular area of the rear foot peg bracket. You loose the rubber grommet and get a little vibration. Yep, they CAN be made to work.

Oh yeah...I had to lose the center stand in the process due to interferrence with the crossover pipe.

The rear mounting point on these pipe is on a slid that allows that rear bolt to be positioned within about 4 inches of travel. NO I would not guarantee a bolt right on for 1980 and 1981 standard models but I can't see there being a big fitting issue. I will clean them up this weekend and post some better pics or a link to some better pics. They look pretty good on the bike and sound nice (matter of opinion) but it was not the look I wanted.

This pipe is still not sold and i would rather see it go to someone here as compared to running it at e-bay. Anyone want to make a "reasonable" offer and cover the shipping?
