  • Intake Boot Vacuum Nipples

I have a XS1100 SG and I have been reading all nite about fuel line and vaccum line placement. Thanks for the info!
I understand how the octi and the fuel pipes connect, and that the vaccume advance connects to the nipple on #2 carb and the nipple on the octi goes to one of the intake boot nipples, my question is what do I do with the other intake boot nipples?
should I connect them together or cap them?
    Thanks in advance.

Almost any GOOD auto parts store. I just buy a pack of assorted vacume caps, about $2.00. Ust the ones that fit, and save the rest for a future project.

Ifyour local auto parts store doesn't have any, get some vaccum or fuel line the right size and cut some short 1" pieces. Then find some wood dowel the right size and make a short plug for one end. Install with some RTV sealant and then put them on the nipple. Instant cap. I had to do that for one of mine when I noticed it split late one nite. That was almost a year ago and I noticed last month that it's still on there... I planned on picking up replacements but forgot.
