    Swing Arm Torque?

Clymer book calls for 47ft. lbs., sounds like a-bit much for tappered bearings? I currently have them set at 27ft. lbs. with equal meas. on each side. Is this the norm torque? Ran search here and Yamaha site, can't find anywhere. Plus other spec. book I have doesn't have it listed.---------'80 LG

    Thanks

      Found It!!!!!!!!

Never mind! Sorry guys, went deeper on search. Found post started by auxtian on 1-'03, answered and confirmed by xssiveone 2-'03. Torque should be 43-52 INCH lbs.

Lock nut @ 72 ft. lbs. per clymer & Yamaha Service manual. So anyone with the Clymer, get out the white-out!!
