4 - 1 Stand Stoppers?

Hi Guys,
Movin' along on project fairly decent. Clean-up and paint slow prosess! Tranny fixed ( I Hope!) 1st-4th dogs worn, #3 fork didn't look so good! Replaced all with good ones plus drimmel mod. Beleive it or not 2nd looked good, drimmel mod. anyway. Allmost done washer mod., will prob wish I would have but for now went this way. Hope it works! Bench shifts OK.
Anyway, back to reason for post. Getting ready for swing-arm, stands, etc. install. Will be installing 4-1, with right exit. Not sure if I will like void on left or not!? Just wondering if any one has fabricated anything for stoppers on stands? Was thinking of welding small angle iron on pivots, or poss. using old exh. sec. for mod.(junk anyway!)
Can't praise this web site enough!!!!! If you need adv., tech tips, good ideas or just plain ol' entertainment this is the place to get it!!

Hey Jim,

My 4-1 system came with a simple piece of steel, with small section angles at contact end, hole in other end that bolted onto the rear foot peg bolt. So, you could use some angle iron, and possibly even get a nice piece of rubber to fit on the end to keep it from banging when it flips up.

I don't use any rubber stand stoppers, That way SWMBO and I can hear the side stand 'CLANK' against the pipe, and I know it is up.

Yea, Tanks Topcat. Will prob. fab. something off rear peg hanger. Just not sure what yet? Bought my 4-1 set second hand (in great shape!) but no accessories for this. Just thought someone might have done something similar.

side stand stop brackets are available at mikes xs in assorteed lengths.
