    one sided petcock

    I used only 1 left side petcock from the special on the vstar tank, worked great
    MDRNF
    79F.....Not Stock
    80G......Not Stock Either....In the works

      Did it ever stop? When the cruiser style bikes caught on, there was a big divide in the motorcycle crowd. Some of the rags back then did lengthy articles about both the bikes and the divide between the riders.

        HEY!? How badly do you want those header nuts? The Special came about because some one at Yamaha realized tha with suck a powerful eng, they should really have built a nicer looking bike around it!

          How about, I just don't get the appeal of cruisers? It covers how I feel about them just as well.

          The specials sure sold well but I will never agree that the front brakes on specials and some other Yamahas were anything less than weird. Fortunately the powers at be at Yamaha eventually saw the light and dumped the swiveling break caliper.
