Putting a "Strain" on your fuel!
Oooh boy,
Another can of worms!!
There are filter towers inside the gas tanks attached to the petcocks that act like screens to help filter out the rust and junk, but particles still get thru! Many of us have installed extra inline fuel filters, several varieties to choose from, from lawnmower ones, to small auto ones, to special order ones from MikesXS, etc.. After a good carb cleaning, it's worth it to put them on so you don't mess them back up so quick!

I had to ask. looks like ill be doing a bunch of stuff to this bike this year. thanks again. btw! i love this site! I didnt think there where any after market things for my bike out there but shortly afer looking through some of the post on this site was directed to a few websites that my endless googling never found. i mean!
