Clip on vs handlebar

Im thinking of putting clipons onto my bike, vs the handlebars, but Im not sure of the diameter or the measurement of the stock forks - 79 xs1100. Should be somethign like 35? Anyone know so I can start shopping?

Not sure of the size right off hand, but clipons and bar-end mirrors definitely give it a different look

If I remember right, they are 37mm
