  • throttle cable

Just had the throttle sleeve and switch assembly off. Now that it's back together I notice that the 90 degree bend metal part of the throttle cable is tight but swings back and forth. Should it move? No recollection (gettin old) if it was stationary when tightened or if it has movement to it. Throttle works ok in the garage, just want to make sure I have it back together correctly before getting on the road. Thanks as usual!

On my 80G it's not exactly loose, but does have quite a bit of play . Never been a problem.

Mine will also move about, but it still works well.

It is supposed to be able to move freely
