Should there be any little washers or spacers at the bottom of the idle adjustment screw holes? I'm taking the screws and springs out for cleaning but there are also little washers dropping out with them.

Yes, little washers and little o rings. Put the spring on the screw, then the washer, then the o ring and put screw back in the hole. (as was explained in a post yesterday, the washer protects the o ring from getting chewed by the spring) If you're only seeing a washer, then the o ring is still in the hole, I use a dental pick to get them out, or you can get them out with a squirt of carb cleaner. Just don't lose them."Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a mechanic!' ('Bones' McCoy)

"Oh, being courteous, huh?"
good evening Pro
Mine... one thing after another.
Ya know... I was up all night with that damned refridgerator that stopped refridgerating. Tore it apart again. cooling coils all frosted. Guess I burnt up another defroster coil. Was getting PO'ed as my premixed margueritas were getting all sloshy, and you know how I feel about that. Got it goin' again, but the food side just wasn't coolin'. I clowned with it most of the day; should be fine, now.
Out back, them derned blackberry bushes! Have been trying to clear them out to put up a new fence. Have a rather large yard(Not countin' the 30x70 feet that I'm encroaching onto county land) Tore down the dog kennel to clear the bushes for the fence. Had to move the bikes out of there(XS1100, XS850, and the Suzuki 850 that EX's hubby donated as a piece offering)
That puddle under the water heater in the garage is getting bigger. Oh, not by much, but it's bigger now that when it first started leaking 5 years ago. Someday...
Job's goin' well. New manager,(female) was putting miles on a demo(new Triumph Scrambler), and dumped it. Broke her arm. (bike didn't fare so well, either. Then the Parts Kid dropped two new bikes in one week. (He's not long for this world, or for his job, either)
Have my son working there now. This allows me to keep an eye on him, and stops him from looking at all the porn on my computer when I'm at work all day.
Well, that's about it. Have to go switch laundry.
Write more when you have a chance.

"Pilot needles have springs, washers and O-rings"
(just trying to keep this thread relevant)[QUOTE]So, what's she like???, besides a little broken
Actually, just got back from her place. I cooked her dinner and discussed the probs at work. (Quite a bit in the hole and she just took out a $50,000 loan to see us through June)
According to all the big sales reps, sales are down nation wide. even worse here by us with all the rain this month.
This time last year, I had a 45 day back log before I could even LOOK at someone's bike to determine what was wrong, and then another week or so to get parts. Today... I have only 5 bikes and one jet ski to work on for the whole week. (New owners have me on hourly, not flat-rate pay, so I really don't care)
No... I have no designs on the boss. Too tall. I like shorter women. Makes me seem larger.(wink wink)
Pilot needles are pointy, too."Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a mechanic!' ('Bones' McCoy)
