Just want to be sure here, I have a 79 standard with vacuum petcocks. Anyway does the vacuum line from carb 2 go to the petcock that carb 2 is recieving fuel from or the other one? The same question for carb 3. the way i have everything routed now is carb1&2 get fuel and supply vacuum to the right side petcock(opposite side of the bike), and vice versa for 3&4. is this right? I am pretty sure it does not matter which petcock delivers fuel to which carbs, but does it matter which vacuum line connects to which petcock?Thanks for any replies.

Hey Steve,
It doesn't matter which hose goes to which petcock, AS LONG AS IT'S THE INTAKE MANIFOLD port, and not the actual metal port on the #2 carb body!! That one is for the Vacuum advance. Your description was a little vague, just wanted to make sure you knew this!
