    What model do I have

I have a 1980 XS1100 Special full dress. I just bought it. It has been sitting indoors for the last 2 years. I keep reading about different models (XS 1100 s,j,d,e,?) I don't know what mine is. The title doesn't say anything other than XS1100. If you could help I would appreciate it. When I go to get parts, they ask me what model.
    HELP PLEASE.

If it is an 80 Special than your model would be a "SG".
    When a 10 isn't enough, get a 11. 80g Hardbagger

      Bill,
Check the "Specifications" on the left. I think that's the link to the serial numbers/year model information.
If you look at the title, check the bike serial number. A 2H7-0XXXXX is a '78 or '79 Standard model, 3H3-0XXXX is a '79 Special.
