Air cleaner emblems

I have a 78 and a 79 standard. On the 78 there is plain chrome covers on the air cleaner but on the 79 on the chrome there is a 1100 emblem on the right side but not on the left side. Are they suppose to be on both sides of both bikes or just on one side. If they are on both sides does anyone have some they want to get rid of?

Not on the 78 for the American market. I've seen them on ebay but don't recall what they are really for.
