Need an oil plug

I can't beleive I did it; I checked the oil level, added some, and put the oil plug on the crankcase cover, got distracted and didn't re-install the plug and THEN rode away, 'bout 15 minutes I notice my jeans leg is "soaked" with oil as well as the side of the bike.
So: I need and oil plug 2H7-15363-00-00 as well as the "0"
ring 93210-27370-00.
Dealer says they can;t help, any suggestions where I can get the stuff??

Odds are the lost plug is within 20 feet of where you topped up the oil. You could go back and look for it.

Tried that Tony, went back, searched the grassy area I was parked at out front of friend's cottage, even walked the road for about a 1/4 mile. Both sides. No luck. But I've ordered and Mon I'll try a local bike shop, maybe we can find something to fit until the correct part arrives. Still can't believe I did that, must be losing it.

Last time I 'lost' my oil fill plug I searched the PepBoys parking lot and couldn't find it. Got home and found it nestled between the frame and header pipe.

When I lost the tranny filler plug from my old Guzzi, I searched for miles backtracking my route. I got home and found it 3 feet from where I took off.

but it'll take a bloody week and a half to get to you.

For something speedier, I'd go for DennisKirk or bikebandit.

I was taking mine on it's test ride, and PO had overtightened it. While coming out of a turn on a highway clover-leaf, as I was accelerating, felt like I had a flat. Back end was ALL over. The plug had simply fallen out... along with most of the threads. Oils stayed in fairly well until I hit the brakes... WHOOSH!! There it all went on the road! Never did find that plug! I went to a local auto store. You can get the next size up on the threading (Or match what you have) and thread it up in there. Won't be the actual stock plug, but who can tell under there? Also, I now keep in my tool box, an oil plug that has a rubber body with a washer on the bottom. As you tighten the bolt, it expands the rubber against the sides... kind of like the old boat bilge style. Just in case this one fails...
