  • Brake/Cluth Levers

    Will the brake/clutch levers off a XS650 fit on a 1979 XS1100 Special?

I found two items on Mikes XS (Part #08-0022 and #08-0036, http://www.mikesxs.com/mikesxs-chass...ategory_id=1.4) that I'm interested in, and they look like they'll fit... I just don't know for sure.

    Any thoughts?

    Parts & More

Cory, I don’t know about the Mike’s parts but I bought replacements for my 81SH from Parts & More. They work just fine. Think the were about $5 apiece.

      Corey,
Dennis Kirk has a big line of levers and they do carry the correct levers for your bike. The quality of these parts is excellent. And the best part is that they are relatively cheap.
Consider that if the hole is worn in your clutch lever, it will kill the end of your cable pretty quick.

Once you un-can a can of worms, the only way to re-can them is with a bigger can.

I've looked there before, and those seem to be good parts for sure. The deal is, however, that I have my eye on some handlebars at Mikes, and if I get the levers there I get free shipping.

So again, do you think they'll fit?
