  • Center Stand ????

Can anyone take a picture of their center stand and how it's oriented on the bike? And where does the spring go?

Bike didn't come with one, but I found one online and wanted to get it installed today.

    Thanks guys!

Did I mention that I love my bike???

There should be two pivots on each side of the frame rails very near the side stand. The spring attaches to the stub that is attached to the side stand mount. It should be visible when you lay down and look up at the frame near the side stand. The spring is very stout. Be careful when you try to stretch it into place.

      Hey Dave,

I had to pull my centerstand off a month or so ago to lengthen it! I have 4" over length front upper tubes, and I was having to use a piece of 2x8 to use my centerstand.

I found that it was easier to put the spring on both mounting points first, and then slide the pivot ends into position, much easier to push/pull the centerstand than wrestle the spring. Just wanted to pass this along!
