Mason,
The badges won't fit any XS11 tank, they are not big/long enough, the holes don't line up.
Folks have posted that the Yamaha Golf Cart badges are equivalent, and much cheaper, and they will fit!

I've also heard that Yamaha is out of the golf cart badges anyway.
I'm looking to repaint the best pair that I have or I'm going to fill the holes and put on Yamaha decals.

Hey Mason,
There's a guy/company in Australia making METAL replicas, they are a bit pricey, but very durable. Not sure if they have them in GOLD tone vs. Chrome? You could do a search, I did one for "tank badges" and saw a thread that mentioned them!

I've seen alot of these badges on ebay. Some are used, some are new aftermarket. I've even bought a few that were in pretty good shape. What I have trouble finding are those little phillips head screws that hold them on. Does anyone have any suggestions? thx tomTom Attermeier

they say they are metal and about 1% smaller, did it screw in fine?
could i put a curvature on them, and over all how is the quality?

Hey Mason,
Their web site states that because of their shrinkage, that the mounting holes may not line up, and recommend putting them on with double sided automotive tape! Bending them might cause cracks in the gold plating!?
You're asking the "Chrome King" about the badge quality? His standards may be a bit higher than most of us!!
Since mine's a rat bike, I don't have to worry about mine, and when I go to repainting, I'll be looking into making my own custom badges, TRBIG gave me the idea of possibly cutting them out of thin plate aluminum, using my mill and a very small bit. Just wish I had a CNC setup, would be much easier to cut letters.
The hard letters will be "G" and "O" and "D", Z and A will be a little challenging due to the slants, the I and L's will be the easiest! YES, I'll be making GODZILLA, not YAMAHA!!

Mason,
Here's a copy of a post i wrote a last year about the replica badges from the Aussie:
I have these replica badges on Swamp Thing. They're super quality, but made of cast metal. Be aware that because they are cast metal, they are just a wee bit smaller than the stock ones they used for their molds. (The metal shrinks when cooling). They're also real gold plated, so they'll NEVER tarnish.
That being said, ONE of the holes will be about 1/8" off. I solved this by drilling (ever so carefully) another hole in the tank flange 1/8" aft of the forward hole and tapped it 4mm for the original screws. The screws are still available BTW.
It's perfect, but you'll need nerves of steel (or 3+ beers) to get it done without piercing your tank.
