    appear to be progressive rate springs, not sure they are Progressive springs.

        No. The springs they come with are wound the same all the way to the ends.

          Dunno, is there one out there with original springs to look at? I took mine out and replaced with Progressive progressive rate springs a few years ago, canNOT recall what those old ones looked like.
