Partnmore stock air filter

I ordered an air filter from Partsnmore but it seems to be defective. It won't seat.

Has anyone else had problems with their air filters? I'm going to send it back. Any recommendations for other filters are appreciated.

Buy a K/N filter expensive get it from napa, fits in stock airbox last 20 yrs.
