  • Installing new header gaskets

I'm trying to put my 4 into 1's back on with new gaskets but they keep falling out of the ports. Anybody got a good way to keep them from falling out before I can get the headers attached?

Just a tiny bit of yamabond on each gaskit, put it in place, and install the headers. worked for me.

It took me a couple tries to get the right amount of Yamabond on them but it worked.

Those 4 into 1's are about as flexible as a rock. I could barely get the flanges over the posts enough to put the nuts in place. Since this was my first attempt at installing a set of pipes I was a little concerned about damaging the threads so I then tightened each screw a little at a time.

Does anyone know how much torque should be applied to those nuts?
