Now I've Done It! I got The Dark Horse running great! Street worthy
once more and on the market. Yep! You read that right. I've done the
evil deed of putting her up for sale. It was a hard decission as this
is one of the funnest bikes I've ever owned. I'm asking $1500.
Funny thing is I parked her out on the street near my home with the For
Sale sign in the windshield and started getting calls withing 20
minutes. Had both my home phone and cell phone numbers listed on the
sign. Sometimes had both phones ringing. It kept up unitl 9:30 pm
last night.
I think she might be gone by the end of the weekend. I'll make sure
the new owner knows about this group and the Yahoo group.
Don't worry about me, I'm not going anwhere unless you guys ban me for
selling my XS1100.
Ride Safe!
Bob
P.S. For those who might be wondering what happened with the throttle cable problem I was having, this mistery may never be solved. I rectified the problem by cutting 1/4 inch from the throttle cable adjustment (handle bar end). This shortened the sheath enough to get things back as they should be. Works like new now, But it worked like new before the carb clean too!
