My ISP was swallowed up by a big outfit from Saskatoon a while back. Shortly after they fired/laid off their local techie, somebody forgot to renegotiate their access onto 'the highway', so everything local died. They got my email back on line, but I'm still chasing down a manager about restoring my personal webspace, or at least restoring access for me to re-upload it myself. I'm just about ready to take my business to the competition who are now offering a 'free' 19" LCD monitor for signing onto a 3 year contract at the same price as my existing (lack of) service. I'll get them back on as soon as possible...

I've got webspace ye can use...

      Hey Ken,

I have a contract with atlantic.net, and have TONS of webspace that I can easily share with ya - If you like, I'll give you a directory on my domain name "visioncollective.com" for free.

PM me if you're interested in using this as a temporary soution, a mirror, or if you want to work out a more permanent solution - all of which are doable.

Thanks for the offer. I think I'll be okay once I manage to talk directly with the manager rather than one of the techies about what has gone wrong. Worst case scenario I'll move to their competitor and get that big new monitor. I was out tonight looking at an HP 1430A with the Athlon 64 x2 3800+ with a gig of memory, 250 GBB hd and 16x DVD+/RW W/Lightscribe that would salso go nicely with that LCD monitor. I've just been looking for an excuse to upgrade my 5 year old Pentium III 866 overclocked to 1.3 and still running Win98, maybe the time is now...
