I saw this bike last yesterday while I was marshalling at a local sprint. Had a quick chat with the owner Dave Clee and he sent me these photos as I didn't have my camera. I couldn't get many details except it's obviously running a garrett turbo, has nitrous fitted, it's got RC 1220 pistons and running stock conrods!! It has a neat outrigger setup for the chain-drive conversion but otherwise it don't look too far from a stock engine.

I'll be seeing it again it a few wweeks I'll try to get some more details off him. Here's the pics:

Ok thats just way to cool! I noticed he's still running the stock front end, wheel, one brake, and maybe a highly modified frame?

You've got to get this guy to post on here!

He is also running a Magneto ignition on it. Look at the cover on the left, no room for pickup coils, and no need for a battery. The Mag is behind the jugs. Saves more weight, and it's on or not.
I would like to find out a little more information on the Turbo, as I'm looking to put one on my "project" bike.

I wonder about the tranny. Think he's done the 2nd gear fix?? lol Is that silver bottle the nitrous, or is it a presurized fuel bottle for what looks to be fuel injection?

Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

I asked him what was being driven by the belt on the left behind the cover and he said "distributor", so I guess he's running a high-output coil and a rotary distributor.
I'll get a closer look at the turbo I think it's a T3/T04. The guy doesn't know what the power output is I asked him. The silver bottle is for nitrous, it's a draw-through carb setup not fuel injection (If I built it then it would be blow-through and FI).
I didn't get a lot of time to talk to him but I will next meet and I'll take my camera too. He hadn't owned the bike long, if I can get the previous owners name I might shoot him an email.
