Ducati Tim just brought some pics from his ride down the coast, thought XSives might enjoy.

Here you can see the fog bank that sits either on or off California's coast all summer long.

Here are growing some Golden Poppies, the California State Flower. In the distance one of the famous Hwy. 1 arch bridges.

Alice's Restaurant in Woodside, where the bikes congregate on weekends.

This pic was taken on Wednesday so the crowd is thin.

XS1100SF "Rusty", runs great, 96k miles
XS650SJ "The Black Bike", engine from XS650H with 750cc big bore kit, 30k miles

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out and defiantly shouting, "WOW, what a ride !" - Sprung

    Landslide pic

Notice how the highway has been rebuilt across this slide. These slides happen nearly every winter and keep the Highway Dept. busy. Wouldn't want to be passing by when one of these babies lets go!
