Port Dover

Wandered around with MaximPhil today, intending to catch a short morning ride before thunderstorms.


Our short ride took us on the north shore of lake Erie. Made it to Port Dover since I have never been there.



Its very nice, we parked, stood at the end of the road and looked at a few bikinis on the beach and boats in the water and were back on the bikes in minutes.

Ended up riding near 500km! Never did see those thinderstorms

What model Kawasaki is that? Looks like a C10 Concours, but no fairing. A fairing-less C10?

Phil's Concours

Thanks, the 78E is a real treat and came to me in great shape. I am trying not to beat it up with too much use but its so much fun, the miles are piling on fast.

The Kawasaki is Concours - its Phil's bike. I wanted some decent background in the pick so unfortunately his bike got a bit obscured, but yes it has a fairing, just happens to be disguised behind the BUFF on my bike.

Not sure of the model # but it has a really great sound and goes a long way further than the 78E on a tank of gas.

Thanks for taking pictures of where we have been and the ice cream stop on Lake Erie at what ever that hamlet is called. Friendly people.

The C10 is the George Clooney of motorcycles....getting old but still sexy.

It was Peacock Point....oddly enough, not long afterwards we almost ran over some real live peacocks crossing the road
