  • Great ride in NW Mt

We had a great ride last Sunday (11th) , a short one only a couple hundred miles. The bike runs really well for being over 30 years old ( 1979 sx eleven f) full dress.I had to replace the stator ,no spark. we rode on us hwy2 a narrow 2 lane road. lots of deer and other wild life. we loved every moment !
We saw over 100 bikes on the road that day.
We are having a bike run up here in Libby, Mt the weekend of the 23rd to the 25th of july.

Good to see another Montana rider here! I am in Bozeman, and finally enjoying a little nice weather. Glad to hear about the ride!
Healthy is merely the slowest rate at which you can die

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba….Hunter S. Thompson

Glacier Park and Flathead Lake is beautiful this time of year.

        riding the park(glacier park)

The next ride will be Glacier Park in August around the 15th. That should be a great ride .
Start in Libby, Mt ride up to Eureka down to Kalispell ( Stop to see the grandaughter) up to the park , come out of the park in Browning and back to Libby on Hwy2 .
We are hoping to get a few others to ride with us, if not it will still be a great ride

Man, I would LOVE to make that ride. I have a son in Kalispell and an aunt in Polson niether of which I have seen in many years. I'll be in Minnesota that week for the XSively Lost Rally.

I was born on highway #2, in Havre, and lived in Malta till I was about 12 when we moved to Great Falls, or actually Ft Shaw. I do miss that country.
