IT. WAS. CRAZY. My first big rally.... and it was big. It was in the lower 70's in Galveston, Tx and made for a great ride!

well if you really want to know.... harleys ARE really slow.. even the "S&S" or screamin eagles. Had some hopped up black street glide came up next to me on the highway and wanted to run. I was at 70 and dropped 2 gears and hammered...
..... bye bye hardley. then my friend decided to pass me at 150 and scare the hell out of me. Had a couple of other harleys that thought they were bad but me and my buddy with the R1 left them... then came up on a pack of GSXR's and busa's and got OWNED 
they got me in the straight but I stayed with them in traffic.
They had a dyno trailer there, Vendors from everywhere. Triumph had a demo set up where you could demo there little bikes. Got a headache sitting around there listening to everyone pegging out there bikes.
Lower 60's in the morning and high of 72 made for a great clear day.
Just was not my scene so we only stayed a couple of hours.... no good lookin women
