Yeah Dean there were more than a few people that were missed..you were among them OFC! I had some very positive reactions to my XJ And I was able to hang with the STs...' no problemas

Ha... I fixed that problem with a seat pad and some sleeping bags mattress foam..no mor whining 'bout that...however riding 250 miles home in the rain on Sunday was a bummer..especially since the bike ran like crap at certain times...especially in the heavier rain...so my whining would be more like pining for a more modern LD rider

Thanks for photos and report. My XS ran poorly too in heavy rain. I am told the water will run along the frame and soak the coils. any crack in insulation can cause them to short out and arc. Not too much fun when only half of the cylinders are firing, but at least not stranded. On nice days runs fine. Easy to put off repair when it is running good...

Brent...Thanks for your comments Sir... Its funny the ST owners dont usually ride in groups of more than 7...so during the day rides theere are several groups going to mostly the same places but not alltogether...There were actually a total of 30+ bikes at the campground we stayed at...plus some had their families too...It was my pleasure to make this report and glad y'all enjoyed... It is my hope that you had a Great Thanksgiving as did I. This is the week I find out wether or not I am movin' to NC or not. We'll know in a couple of days...I am praying for it big time..Y'all have a Merry Christmas and New Years too....I'll let y'all know if there good news...pls say a prayer for me..Thanks.
