    'Lo XS1100 Riders!

This is my first "report" and there should have been lots more. I just came back to WA after a 6 month trip to OR, CA, AZ, NM,UT,and ID. Took my bike with me but didn't make any videos. My Bad!, and I apologize for that. Really cool roads in every state I went to.

This ride is a short one and this report is more my way of getting the format down of how I'm gonna do the future ones. If you have any comments/suggestions then by all means let me know.

This is the bird's eye view of the route I took:

    Short but sweet, eh?

Here's the link to the video of the ride:

Details: Ride was done on an August weekday. This road has lots of traffic on it during the weekends as the locals travel to the marina/resort at the end or visit the golf course midway in the route. Posted speed limit starts out at 35 mph then shuts you down to 25 mph for the main twisties. Only one stop sign. I've seen better road conditions but during this ride I wasn't dodging potholes so I'm content with it. Caution: the large body of water to the right of the route goes dry at low tide and stinks to high heaven. Advisable to check the tide/water level before you begin.

For me it's all about the bike and the road. Doesn't matter to me what is at the end of it as far as a "destination." As long as the bike runs the way it should...I'm happy. Really cool roads, no traffic congestion, and I'm happier. I guess I'm just simple in that-a-way.

    Regards!!
