Kat, I didn’t know that you got a chance to meet Freddie (the frog). Can’t make out just were he was when you took the picture but it looks like he may be trying to get back in the house again. Yea, he has been in the house, and the garage. Spends most of his time around the deck or block retaining walls. He has been around every since we moved here back in 2002.
Great pictures, glad you all could make it to Iowa,

Freddie was crawling between the garage doors... cute little thing... and the best kind of pet to have... low maintenance and eats flies...

Very nice ride report
I wish I was back east sometimes, you guys have lots of cool events going on.
We are going to have to get some action going on the west end of the country.
And thanks Kat,now I have proof. My girlfriends familly can rest assured now knowing that motorcycle riding is safe, this sign you took a pic of proves it.
And I dont think your bike looks too girly, the SG I sold a couple months ago looked almost identical to yours.Awesome bike.I should have kept mine80 SG XS1100

Sorry so long in posting these, but I had to get permission from Bob to post pics of the stuff in his shop. He asked me not to post pics of his guns.. (Which I never got to see anyway) but hopefully that will deter anyone who wants to do anything but ADMIRE what he has there.
Here's Bob in the front of his shop. Notice it's big enough to play basketball in.. when you remove the beer backstop first, of course.
Here's his V-Max... front and center blocking his Harley, as should be.. lol.
Other random pics around his shop...
We all informed Jackie that we wanted to be included in the will. When she looked at us strangely, we informed her that we didn't want any money... just an allotment of FLOOR space in Bob's shop. I mean.. there's plenty to go around!! lol.
Bob had his rear wheel off. He had some bearing problems with the needle bearings....
...WELDING themselves together!!!
Vince, Harry, and Kat.. with Bohn supervising.
Harry's MNS with our lovely hostess Jackie helping Kat off her bike since her feet probably couldn't touch.. Bohn taking advantage of a photo op again. Either that or holding his excitement over Bob's shop..
Views of Bob's beautiful place...
To be continued....Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

A few from the road...
We pulled into this park.. you can take your own guess at the name..
Nice and shady.. slow, but twisty...
...with a low water crossing.
A couple bikes from the museum Kat didn't post. For anyone interested... one of Jesse James' bikes. Nobody seemed very impressed.. lol.
And a STEAM powered bike. I bet you wouldn't complain of how heavy our bikes were if you rode this one for a while..
A couple shots riding into the Amana Colonies... expected a goose dinner, but they kept off the road.
Our lovely host and hostess, Bob and Jackie, with one of their grandsons.
And this is how Jackie dealt with all us hoodlums raiding their house...
Here's another shot of Kat's bike as we're about to pull out from Russ' place in Kansas. I promise there's an XS under there somewhere. What pisses me off, is she STILL got better gas mileage than me! Russ has a very nice place and a very well equipped garage also with a nice heavy duty lift that Bob Jones used to own. The best part about the garage has been circled though.... always cold beer on tap!
All in all.. a great trip and can't wait to go back... if Jackie will let us.. lol.
