  • wet ride

So I had a meeting up in temecula, ca. Its about 65 miles from my place in san diego checked the weather and decided to ride there and possibly take. Ca79 south thru the back hills , bad idea got stuck in a side ways rain. And me with no rain gear and leather gloves , I got soaked but I was wondering what you can do to keep your windscreen clear my biggest problem was vision. At one point I had to pull over it was raining and foggy and I couldn't see sh***t!!

Don't know the answer, but I know the feeling.

The longest scariest drive of my life was coming back from Columbus Ohio to Cincinnati some years ago in a cage with my now wife. At the time we were dating and visiting friends of hers. It started raining then got so dang foggy that visibility improved by turning the headlights off. They were just reflecting back at you off the fog. Every now and then you would see another car, otherwise just using the lines on the road around you to guess you were in the right place. I am amazed they did not have to surgically remove that seat!!

Yeah it cured my case of monkey butt, if I could see and maybe better gloves and some raingear would be nice, at least my bike ran great and the battleaxes didn't even give me a shimmy , of course I couldn't see well enough to go very fast!
