Been to Alaska, not a bad place. lots of really cool wild life. American Bald Eagles are as common as a Robin here in the mid west, flying all over the place.

But walking on Tundra, and dealing with highs in the 40's in June, along with 1 hour of darkness a day. That and I was on an island with no friggin trees or bushes except 14 pines in one clump. Sign read "You are now Entering AND Leaving the National Forest."

Once is enough of that one for me.
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

An old, Stoned biker riding a Harley once told me "the destination matters not, tis how the ride is enjoyed on the way".

He had occasional moments of clarity and some pearls of wisdom, but mostly he was just stoned. He'd have loved a ride to Alaska, but you'd have to tell him when he got there though otherwise he'd just keep riding. Killed himself last year riding a borrowed Ducati doin a million miles an hour.

Destination didnt matter, he was enjoying the ride.
1980 SG. (Sold - waiting on replacement)
2000 XJR1300. The Real modern XS11. Others are just pretenders.
