I went on my first group ride yesterday. (Some of you know about the Run for the Son) There were 50 bike that showed up for the ride and we all went in 1 pack. What a sight it must have been to see us, when we were streatched out we must have covered at least half a mile. Anyway it was a great ride up to about half way through. Up in front of the pack one rider lost it on a curve while riding 2up. I don't know much about what happened, I stayed back (enough people up there to help as it was). When everything was taken care of, we turned around and finished the last leg of the ride. The rest of the ride wasn't as fun as we were very concerned for our fallen friends.
We had a bike show at the end of the ride and I had many good comments on mine. I had spent the day before shining her up. Everybody be careful and try to keep the shiny side up.
