So me and my brother inlaw just got back , we took off from san diego and went up the pch to san simeon ca. Let me tell you don't ever take the 1 through los angeles it is nothing but stop lights all through there! After we got to santa monica it was smooth sailing , the ride on the pch to oxnard is great , then we made are way up to santa barbara and had some fun on state street . The next morning woke up at 8am hungover like a *#?!?* but choke down some bad motel coffee and hit the road. We decided to take the 154 north if you haven't been on this stretch of road I highly recomend it to any one , long sweeping turns and once you reach the top panoramic views you wouldn't believe. Made it to slo and up to san simeon - I have to say my bike averaged at least 250 miles to the tankfull ! Maybe because it was riding in the back of a _uhaul from slo to san diego hahaha you should have seen the rain today and those poor b*stards riding in the deluge any way we made it home safe and I will post pics later , and I found out how nice this bike is on the long haul the next time I will have my king seat redone install my vetter and maybe some highway pegs , but it ran sweet with the new f/d mod. 70-80 mph @ 4k-4.5krpm smooth as silk

It was 45 and sunny on sunday in the great white north Pa, I tried like heck to go for a ride. I got the bike out of the basement and it fired up like it was just run, but when I tried to get it up the hill, I just spun on the slick wet snow. I guess i've found the downside to keeping the bike in the nice warm basement, I don't think the hill will be dry enough until May! Maybe we can pull it up with the kid's DT.79 XS11 Special (Lazarus)
