  • NZ's Best Road?

Greetings all; I use to ride this years ago in NZ (pronounced Noo Ziland). The Queen Charlotte Drive-between Picton & Havelock in the South Island. 40 km of hairpins witha few straight bits.Good surface but some loose gravel on corners.Awesome scenery too-if you got time to SLOW down.

hey Chrisso, have ridden that road many times,
yes one of the better riding roads in the South Island of New Zealand ,
BUT the Takaka Hill road leaves it for dead.
Thats on the other side of the island from Queen Charlotte Sound Drive.
For any of you readers who ever visit NZ, these are two of the "must ride" roads .
But then so many riders come to New Zealand for a holiday, experiance the quality of the whole country and never leave!
