East Ontario/West Quebec Spring Meet

Last Saturday , April 19 2008 , In this part of Canada we were blessed with some great weather . 5 listmembers gathered at the Antrim Truck Stop for brunch . In attendance were 79XS11F, Blue Giant , ELDR , Rundle and myself . After a hour of chat ,eats and coffee we embarked upon our journey . Roads were in good shape and we balanced ride time with stops as it was near the first ride of the year for most . Places visited were Calabogie,Hopetown, Carleton Place where we stoped for coffee and chat before we rode to our homes . Great to see the guys again and the new folks . We have this list to thank for making the connections and helping with our repairs .

Hopefully we can meet again soon again this year. Seemed funny on the weekend being so warm with that much snow still around.

Next Run

Of course ,there's the Old Bastards Rally but I'd like to get down your way sooner than that . We'll keep in touch for the next run . The country side is nice around the Rideau Lakes .I'd like to explore that region again . Good to hear from you

I found an 81 xs today that I fell in love with. The XJ is now on the block. I put it in Kijiji and put a link to it on here. Damn spring fever.
