Christmas Day ride part 1 & 2

Part 1 - Christmas day ride - Drove big car loaded
with gifts to Grandma's house...rushing some...
standard story untill I spotted the little boy at the
edge of road holding remote for radio controlled car.
I stopped. Boy moved safely off roadway, with car near
curb in front of him. I go.

THUMP, THUMP. :0

Scene in rear view mirror; Car in pieces in road.
Boy with eyes & mouth wide open holding RC controller.

Part 2 - Next day, Loaded new RC car & control on
motorcycle.. .
I feel much better now.

True enough.
But I did just do the "hit & run" leaving him to gather up his parts and think about it untill the next day. AS it turns out, he had his car back together and did not need any replacement by the time I got there. He was smiling and showing off the character scratches on his car. Said it was really fast. He also indicated that he would not drive it under my vehicle again when I passed by.

I did miss the second RC car I passed on Christmas Day.
