I finally got around to scanning some more photos of my
October trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Original

Here are some of the more than 60 deer I saw in 2 days.
XJ, trailer, and myself on Hwy 167 in the park.
Some nice fall colors still present in early October, such as this stand of Aspen.
Not a really great photo, but I included it for the white foreground. Frost. Temps were in the low 20s.
On the way into the park you cross the Colorado River at the Lee's Crossing Bridge. The Colorado flows through the Grand Canyon.
A North Rim view of the canyon.
Grand Canyon Lodge.
And finally, another view of the Grand Canyon. Just above center you can see the Colorado River in the bottom of the canyon.
All in all, an excellent overnight trip.
