That info is provided by your browser and from the TCPIP connection, actually from the port you use to connect with. No need to be concerned about it. He probably just uses it for diagnostics. Your browser has lots of functions like that, and a server can get lots of info about a client when it makes a connection. Most of it is used set things like language and video resolution etc.

Image files can contain much more than the image. Was a fad for awhile to embed code which "could" allow access to your computer. Just going to a page can load goodies on your computer and clicking on it can do it too. Minor stuff can be avoided by you security settings/firewall. If you have a static IP address and get noticed by a hacker you are in trouble. If you have info on a computer that you absolutely want to keep private, don't hook up to a network.

If you want to be Anonymous, it's too late. BUT

There are ways to be anonymous on the web. Tor/Privoxy are one.

You can always use the menu item, View--PageSource, thats where it is in FireFox, to see the HTML code that the page is useing.

In this case it is just a PNG image, could have imbedded bad stuff, but doubtful.

If you go to the IP address and backspace out all but the danspace.com part, it takes you to it home page which might shed a little light on whats going on.

There are some guys with too much time on their hands and it only takes a minimal computer/easily learned programing and a dial-up connection to play around.

99.9% of people don't realize just how much info is available about them with out even trying to snoop where you don't belong.
