I must say that I am impressed at the starter cranking speed using one of these batteries. It cranks like it's on steroids. It was 13.2V right out of the box and that's where it stays. It's a totally sealed unit, so no vent. It is great for clearing the air box when it floods with fuel vapors on a hot day.
I have it paired with a geezer VR so I'm hoping it charges at a high enough rate. So far it's a great upgrade, but we'll see what happens over time. The cost was less than $60 on Amazon and had it the next day.

Noice. I bought some cheap Amazon AGM's off Amazon for the school's bikes. I was so impressed with them that I bought one for the XS. Great price!

Yes, I bet it would. The starter clutch in my Special is acting a bit wonky, I may try this battery in that bike to see if it improves any.

I bought one of these batteries in November of 2018. The 18 month warranty is about right. The battery lasted about that long before I had to replace it. The price is right though.

Phil knows my experience with one of these, which I got in 2018 with the purchase of several bikes and parts, including a 79 Special that I installed it in. It was undersized, too. That battery lasted almost 5 years for me.

21 AH is great! CCA's out of curiosity?

I've done two Amazon batteries in the last year. Mighty Max is the name, agm. $36 and $43. They work like champs with the 750 Seca and the 550 Nighthawk project that just got running. One is 12 AH, other is 14 AH. 165 CCA and 210 CCA respctively.

5 years ago, lithium battery for the ZRX. 280 CCA, 1lb 12 Oz. Cut 10 lb off the awesome yet very heavy Yuasa battery that had given up the ghost. Still going strong, high compression pistons and all it fires up with 20w50 even in the cold of winter.
