Sure, go direct to MAC. $275 + shipping should bring you in under $300.

Motorcycle Depot Mac Exhaust $268 delivered

        I went to mac.
All i got was computer stuff.
I di find Brand New Mac Systems from Cycle Depot for $268!
There's a beat up set on e bay right not for almost $200.

        I am buying NEW !

Even on Ebay there's a guy selling New Mac XS1100 systems For $299 PLUS Shipping.
And people are buying it. So we could buy them for under $270, and resell them for $300
then pay EBay $10.. plus gas to the post office...forget it.

Someone was doing this with Yamaha golfcart emblems and people on the list wanted to crucify him. New they were $5.00 and he was getting $40.00.

The cheapest way to go is Harley sportster mufflers on stock XS11 headers.

I used the headers off my parts bike and I got the sporster mufflers off eBay for about $20 including shipping. It sounds great looks pretty good too.

                Geezer tell me more

Could I pick your brain on the sportster mufflers?

previous owner welded the muffler on mine. I would lose 1-2" of the header.
did they install easy > ?
Theres a set new no bids $25 with a few hours left.
but they look like one is an inch shorter than the other.

So what if one is shorter than the other? You can only see one side of the bike at a time. When viewed from the rear the mufflers are round circles so no one would notice anyway.

I am kidding with this, don't yell at me

                    me yell ?

                    good point

and the only time i yell is when i inadvertantly hit the cap button and am too lazy to retype.

They are a little larger in diameter than the stock XS11 pipes. If you're going straight off the header you will need to have a local muffler shop make up a couple short adapters.

In my case the stock mufflers were rotted out toward the rear and I cut them off and left a short cone of old muffler. I then slit that and rolled it to the right size to slip the Harley mufflers.

Sportster and FatBoy mufflers are designed to go on the same side of the bike with one bracket up and the other down. This works perfectly for one left and one right on an XS11.

Here's a link to a pic of my bike.
                      http://www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com.../Mongrel_2.jpg

It now has a custom seat flat seat with very little stitching to let in water and I installed fairing.

                        Mac 4-1

I bought it cause I heard it was the loudest. Decent tone, but the chrome is CHEAP. It doesn't hold up to standard use very well, but as such is cheaper that a Jardine. Now debating on sending it to the chromer, or buying another system. Also, the baffle rattles inside the pipe... big annoyance!

Let me know if you decide to sell it. I'd sand blast off the chrome and paint it black.

Any of you guys bidding on the Jardine 8102 mufflers on ebay? I need to replace the right one on my bike as it was demolished in the accident, and I don't want to piss anybody off, but I'm going to bidding on them too.
