I have an 82 xj1100 and I would like to put on after market pipes or at least find a decent replacement muffler for my existing pipes, any suggestions? My factory have rusted apart and they were repaced with a set of JC whitney specials before I took possesion, I have the original header pipes but no mufflers on them but i wuld like to find a good set.

Check out; www.mikesxs.com. He has an on line catalog with a large selection of mufflers in various styles and shapes. Get your desired measurements; (intake diameter and overall length desired) and phone Mike. I have bought several items from him. Got good service and good product from him. (never had to order mufflers though)

i replaced my factory pipes with mac turnouts,they looked good and sound good...but they rusted very badly.only a year and a half old
