    georgefix purchase wrong turn

    I have a purchase thru georgefix who typically does biz on ebay, that has turned out poorly. He is mistakenly or whatever claiming that he sent me parts, that I have not received. He is also making claims that he sent me a money request, with a tracking number, I have a copy of that request and there is no tracking number on it, how is it, that he would send a tracking number anyways, since I had not paid yet??? If there is a positive resolution to this problem, I will post it here immediately after the resolution. Heretofore, I have had good luck purchasing from him so I trusted him, I would not do so again at this point. A word to the wise is sufficient.

    I would contact eBay and see if they can contact George. No one on eBay sends anything without payment, so he would have sent an invoice for the item/s and at that point you would be able to contact him and tell him you did not order this item/s. Let him know 1st, why would he send without payment. He might have a customer with very close identity ? Just got mixed up, I'm sure he's many customers.
    I'd like to know the outcome !

      +1 I think he just has a lot going on. However, I cannot say I've always had the best experience with him.

        Have him email the tracking report showing that it was delivered and to what address.

          already done all that

          Hi,

          I ve already done everything like youve suggested. To further elaborate, I am accustomed to purchasing from him thru ebay. I requested a special part, and he sold it to me OFF ebay ,,this was not realized by me at the time, that the purchase did not include ebay. He simply sent me an invoice,,using ebays communication system, and I sent money thru paypal. He got the money, but he is either totally confusing this purchase with another purchase made a week earlier, for three times the money,, or he is scampin me. We shall see what, Ive already put a complaint in thru paypal. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, all I can figure is he had a ruff nite last night because he seems to be mentally attached to the previous purchase altogether,,, maybe not realizing that this is a separate purchase even though I have specified, that the purchase I made was paid for on July 7, and the previous purchase, made thru ebay was a week earlier. There have been many emails about this today, of course I will keep them handy. Quite a waste of a nice summer afternoon for both of us so far..

            george did a refund

            Georgefix , George Hoffman, e bay parts supplier ended up doing a refund. I dont know what happened to my package, maybe never will. He made no explanation. This is a satisfactory conclusion to this fiasco as far as I am concerned.
