    XJ4ever.com Brake Lines

+1 here on these brake lines. They are exact fit, easy to install, no mods needed, and you will like the way they look on your bike.

All of the banjo fitting bends are spot on, as if they were made by Yamaha themselves. They even install the rubber grommets for the hold down clamps. Could not ask for a better product for the XS1100 brake application. The lines are DOT approved. They come in rubber or stainless steel braid. Different colors are available as well. You would never consider making up your own lines after having seen this product.

Just installed them on my Venturer and have not road tested yet. I suspect that there will be much improved brake response. Will post that evaluation as soon as I can test them.

            Just ordered

Emailed Len and just ordered replacement brake lines. Easy to work with and had all the info. Looking forward to making the swap.

Happy to see a mod so easy to buy

This is a mod I plan on doing to both of my bikes this winter. I'm glad to see something so easy to do and cost effective.

                  Techna-Fit

I have heard good things about the Techna-Fit SS brake line kits. They are also considerably less expensive. Got a set ordered that I am going to try on a Special.

I have used the Chacal lines as well.

                          Techna-Fit

The Techna-Fit SS brake line kit that I ordered for the XS1100SF Special was $91.00 + shipping. A better deal will be hard to find. Supposedly comes with new banjo bolts and copper washers.

Will know more in a day or so when kit arrives.

Mike-- I ordered the Techna-fits for my F over the winter. I'm sporting them right now, and they were plug-n-play. No problems whatsoever. Same price for mine, and they are great. I think Ian McD. pointed us in this direction, here is a thread about them.

                              Techna-Fit

I received my Techna-Fit lines today. I am somewhat disappointed. Let me explain. As has been previously stated as to what came with the lines, I seem to be missing some of the nice grommets. As a matter of fact, there are no grommets! All that I received was 4 lines with banjo bolts and copper washers.

In all fairness, I am going to contact Techna-Fit and ask them if this was an error - or not. Will post my findings ASAP.

Well, just so you know Mike, those grommets do not fit the Yamaha grommet holders, so maybe they eliminated them for that reason.
