Santa brought me one of these so I decided to fire it up and see how it worked. What a P.O.S. Carefully following the instructions, I fired it off. The hose hooks up to the back of the unit. Flimsy plastic hookup looks like it will break off real easy so you need to hang onto the hose. Soap distribution was miminal at best, water velocity rivialed that of a Dollor General squirt gun, and you still have to use a mitt or brush to knock the dirt off. "Rinse" mode generated a modest trickle of water making it difficult to get all the soap off.. The "auto dry" portion was a joke. Volume of water made it difficult to rinse the roof of my Olds 88, unless you have a ladder handy, doing a SUV, truck or van will be near impossible. I didn't notice any real "sheeting" action and ended up getting the chamois out to keep from getting water spots. It was slower than my old way of soak, lather with brush and bucket and rinse. I think if you dropped it once, the devise would break pretty easy. Save your money and get a good bucket and pole brush.

Had one of these for several years. Has always worked well for me, and the no spotting does seem to work, as I have always been able to use the rinse on the and not get any water spots without drying the vehicle. The reason the rinse is so slow on water flow is because of the filter it's going through, which is removing all the stuff that makes the water spots. Mine got lost/stolen though, and I picked a new one up at big lots a few months ago. Since I'm getting ready to give the bike it's annual bath soon, I let you know how it works for on the bike.
