Anybody have a recomendation for some grips. I need some that are softer, to reduce the road vibration. I read about the grip puppies, but i would rather have full grips. I am going out today to look at some. Just thought that someone might have came across some that were exceptional.

I got some Kuryakyn grips for a Goldwing from a shop that had them for $30, since the guy that ordered them didn't pick them up. They are awesome. I think normal pricing is about $65, but they are worth it, IMHO.Ich habe dich nicht gefragt.

I found that you use a gen 2 FJR1300 throttle tube (2006 on) on the XS and that will allow you to run standard length grips. Gives a very wide range of available options. It's somewhere in the link in my sig, I think page 7-8 or so. I also posted the info in a how-to, it's on this board somewhere.

I don't seem to get any road vibration from my bike, but do know that when it is time for front tire replacement, you get some vibration on the grips. Useless to get new grips and have the same problem. WOuld check my front tire first before changing grips.'79 XS1100 (2H9) named Bones

these are hands down the best grips i've bought for a bike in a long time . there's 2 different kinds of rubber in them , they're soft but not sticky , there isn't alot of vibration thru them . the little chrome disk on the end is removable should you want to cut open the end of the grip for a bar end . i was also pleased that they look like an old oem grip from the 70's instead of having all sorts of colors and designs all over them like most new grips .
