  • Stainless Steel Brake Lines - Ebay

I installed them a few months ago. Used old banjo bolts with new crush washers. Braking is instant and fast now. I used 1"-2" pieces of 1/4 inch high pressure fuel line over the brake line in the holders. Works great!!! I really like the lines for the price. No one else can beat it.

I noticed he is listing them for an SG now. You can ask him for another model. Just make sure you tell him what model your bike is when placing the order.

    Good product IMO.

I have the set from Coastguard as well. The lines are nice quality.

However, all four lines came with the ends with no changes of direction. Works fine for the two lines from the splitter to the front calipers, however the line from the front MC to the caliper should be offset about 90 deg, and same for the rear line. The only way I got them to go on is to mount the one end, then remove the MC and bolt the line on then put the MC back with pressure and twisting on the line. The back line also seems long and I had to push it around to keep it off the back wheel, but I may need to switch the one form the front MC to the rear, it is shorter.

Coastguard has been very good so far in that he is listening to my concern and has promised to make it right.

I have found that 30 degree ends work well all around. With the ends 90 opposed 180 degrees. Might want to pass that on to him.

Thay have a slight offset on the ends, it is just the 90 degree offset that is missing. The two long ones to the front calipers do fine with no offset between ends. But the other two seem to need 90 degrees.
