You know that big license plate light housing on the back thats chromed plastic? Well mine was broken at the bolt holders. I tried to glue it for a year or two. I finally got sick of it, and went to look for an alternative. I ended up buying a little light unit from Walmart for five bucks or so, and made it fit. Just had to get rid of the extra fat on the mounting frame and drill new holes. A couple of stainless steel allen bolts and a piece of rubber later, and I got a much better looking license plate. Incidently, one bulb gives off plenty of light for the cops. Use the link that Ken kindly put on my other thread here to see it.

Just changed the pic on the other website back. Hopefully by next week I'll have it all back together and get an angle shot with the tail end showing everything I've mentioned here.

OK! This is the thread I have been waiting for.
I destroyed my lp light just the other day and have been looking for a replacement, but if you have the fix.................
What is this "other site" you are talking about? I would like to see a pic of your mod.
