1987 venture XVZ1300???

Going to look at a XVZ1300 and possible that I might buy it.
Supposed to run. Has over 70K on it.

Anything particular to this bike I should be aware of?
Are they worth having with that many miles??

The Venture engine is as bullit proof or even more so than the XS engine. If it has been maintained at all it will be a great ride. I have a 1991 and wouldn't trade it for any thing. Much as I enjoyed the XS the Venture beats it for ride in every department.
I am still on this site for the only great people I have met at rally's. They keep me checking to see what is going on with the group.
The plastic can get very fragile if the bike has been stored and left outside.

I also should add that people have been known to get over 200 K on these engines if they are maintained.
