Broken Tachometer Cable Housing

Today I did the unthinkable and dropped the head on my 1980 XS850.. It landed directly on the tachometer housing and it basically exploded. Now I cannot seem to figure out how to get this the tachometer gear out of the darn thing. Any ideas???

Is there a set screw under the black spot in the photo. Since this is not as XS850 forum, we're probably going to need better pictures.

their held in by a plate on the front (thats been removed) just tap it out from the gear side, it might be tight if its been in since new.
