I stopped by Baxter Cycle in Marne, Iowa today because I heard they were having a weekend long bike show. Pretty cool deal - well over 100 British & European bikes on display. Triumph's & Moto Guzzi's are Baxter's mainstay's, but there were BSA, Aprilla, Norton, BMW, Enfield and 3 or 4 other makes represented. A few HD's and Japanese bikes scattered around as well.
The bike show also had a red 1950 Vincent Rapido and some other show bike that has been displayed in 4 Guigenheim (sp?) museums in the US & Europe. Restored flat-trackers, Triumph hill climber, Triumph choppers and more. Pretty good show for a podunk town that basically consists of the bike shop and a bar.
Also, Triumph USA had their semi there and had probably 16 bikes available for demo rides both days. Moto Guzzi also had a couple of demo bikes available.
All in all, a real nice hour that I spent there. Sure beats bike night in Des Moines where 95% of the bikes are HD.
This is an annual event at Baxter Cycle which is located ~50 miles east of Omaha just south of I-80. Here is their link.

Also, must say that I do like the Triumph Bonneville America - 790cc Cruiser.
